I'm Michael Recek, the owner of SurfaceTech Cleaning. Our shop is on N Hughes Ave in Fresno, and I've been cleaning carpet, tile, and upholstery across the Central Valley since I started the company in July 2019. When you book with us, you're not getting a franchise or a rotating crew — you're getting the owner, the same IICRC-trained technician who answers the phone, pulls the ProChem extraction hose, and stands in your living room until the job is done right.
Being based here matters more than people expect. Valley dust, orchard and field grit, summer heat, and pet traffic all behave a certain way in local homes, and after years of Fresno and Clovis jobs I know how to get that embedded soil out instead of just freshening the surface. My home base is Fresno, and my most-served communities are the ones closest to the shop: Fresno, Clovis, Madera, Sanger, Selma, Reedley, Kingsburg, Kerman, Fowler, and the towns around them. From there the same truck and the same owner travel out to the edges of the valley and up into the Sierra foothills — Coalinga and Firebaugh on the west side, Chowchilla to the north, and Oakhurst, Bass Lake, and Friant toward the mountains and Millerton and Bass Lake. Cabin and vacation-rental turnovers up the hill are part of what I do.
Because it's just me and my equipment, I'd rather you call and ask than guess. If you're a little outside my usual circle, tell me your address and what you need — often it's an easy trip, and I'll be straight with you if it isn't. There's no dispatcher and no surprise travel fee sprung on you at the door; the person quoting the job is the person doing it.

Yes. Beyond our core cities I regularly drive out to the valley's west side and up into the foothills, and I take on cabin and vacation-rental turnovers around Bass Lake and Oakhurst. Since it's owner-operated, I schedule those trips personally — just tell me your address and what you need and I'll let you know honestly whether I can reach you.
No, and I want to be upfront about that. Cities like Los Angeles, San Diego, Sacramento, and the Bay Area have resource pages on our site for people researching carpet cleaning, but SurfaceTech does not operate a physical location or send trucks to those areas. Every one of those pages carries a disclaimer saying so. Our real, hands-on service is the Central Valley.
